I'm feelin' kinda Monday.

See more Danny DeVito videos at Funny or Die
Ah what a beautiful day in the Philadelphia region on this Monday in October. The weather is finally getting cold, the Phillies are starting the World Series on Wednesday, and the Dallas Cowboys bent over and spread their cheeks to make way for the St. Louis RAMS (yes, pun intended) yesterday getting romped, 34-14.

Now onto the Rays and the WS I have nothing against the Rays, there is no rivalry and this should be a fun, competitive World Series. I do however think the Phillies are so much more hungrier and more talented than those Rays and seriously, how many hours do you think those people have been fans for?

Oh and the video I posted? Yea it's old and yea I've seen it a bunch, but it's hilarious, so why the hell not?

Line Bonus

On top of the Phillies winning the NL Championship, something else really awesome happened today. I was on TV. Attack of the Show is a pretty badass show on G4TV and they went ahead and showcased some photos from the legendary Tetris costumes that my friends and I made back in college. I was the red L as you can see in the pictures. Take note of Olivia's comments about chicks loving Tetris. Hey it could happen.....

Pheelin Phantastic!

Champions. Anyway you slice it, the Phillies are the champions of the National League and now, it's on to the World Series. I will be at game 4 in section 105. This is such an awesome day and what makes things even better is that the Mets still suck. And I mean they REALLY suck. People didn't think the Phillies could go into LA and dominate the way they did. But c'mon.........
.......they're fucking superstars.

'Cause Matt Stairs Said So!

Yes, Matt Stairs has arrived. 40 years young and about 50 cheesesteaks deep since arriving in Philly this August, he hit the biggest homerun of his career last night against the "unhittable" Jonathan Broxton. Awesome. I loved every second of it and I'm ready for either Tampa Bay or Boston.

In other sports news, all the NFC East teams lost this week except for the birds which turned out to be a great week for them overall (despite their not-so-pretty win). The most notable loses come from the Giants and Redskins who lost to the Browns and Rams respectively. The Giants went ahead and took their pounding on national TV no less. Loved it.

The Flyers could use a win, that's really the only downside to these past few days. That and I went to NY over the weekend but have yet to find an apartment. Hopefully REAL soon...

Anyway, I'll leave this post with a couple fun videos. One of Sarah Palin getting booed at the Flyers opener (they tried so hard to drown out the boos on tv, but c'mon). Also, note the "bad start to the season" comment at the end of the video. Who knew?

Also, here's a video of John McPenguin. Nuff said.

That's a big flag, no?

Oh and the Phillies won too. Like they should have.

It's so on

Fuck you LA.

Game 1 of the NLCS is tonight and I will be there showing all kinds of support for the Fightins'. The Dodgers are a good team right now, but c'mon they sucked all year and the Phillies have kept Manny pretty well in check. They don't scare me and their "fans" don't scare me either. Especially the Hollywood celebs that show up at games. I'm sure they probably have their servants wave their rally towels for them. Assuming of course they even have rally towels...or rally cosmetic surgery.

Nerd Heaven

The 2008 Tokyo Game Show has been underway for a couple days now and there is more video game coverage than one can shake a stick at (or that I have time to spend all day writing about). I suggest large doses of Attack of the Show and X-Play as well as spending time at joystiq.com and destructoid.com for all your TGS needs. And speaking of needs, I think Alison Carroll needs my phone number.
